Nick Neptune joins Dix Park Conservancy as Director of Outreach

 

Nicholaus M. Neptune is a civic entrepreneur, advocate, and educator based in Raleigh, North Carolina. As Director of Outreach for the Dix Park Conservancy, he works with the team, city, and region in ensuring the creation of a remarkable civic space that unites and strengthens our growing and diverse community.

He currently serves as the Board Chair and President of Oaks and Spokes, Raleigh’s bicycling and sustainable transportation advocacy nonprofit, recognized by the League of American Bicyclists as the 2021 Bicycle Club of the Year, and further honored with the City of Raleigh’s 2020 Environmental Award in Sustainability and Climate Action in Transportation.

Neptune also serves as a commissioner and vice chairman of the City of Raleigh’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission, as a member of the Dorothea Dix Park Community Committee, and as a board member with Diversify Architecture, the Wake Tech Community College Foundation, and the YMCA of the Triangle’s Young Professionals Advisory Board.
